A very rare fly reel by Hardy Bros, rarest small size 2 1/2” brass with ebonite back and nickel silver rims, in excellent original condition with rod in Hand logo and oval logo, Ivorine handle, correct brass foot not altered or shortened, constant crisp check mechanism, with full original bronzing circa 1890s. A collectors piece.
