Very rare Antique Allcock Co “ HOMER IMPROVED FLICK-EM “ Centrepin

This is a very rare reel, only one or two of this model have ever turned up, made by Allcock & Co with early concentric round stamp “ S.ALLCOCK & Co LTD REDDITCH ENGLAND “ THE IMPROVED HOMER FLICK-EM” in excellent condition having all of the original Dead black lead finish, twin Ivorine handles, an unusual raised central drum release catch boss not dissimilar to the early SLATER release catch, having an all round line guide for felt or right hand use.Narrow drum with multi-ventilated front faceplate, correct brass foot. Superb extremely rare colllectible reel.
