Rare J.W Young’s Famous “ Duplex “ 4” Brass reel, circa 1893, stamped with the shield logo a unique reel having a nickel silver ratchet check adjuster and a unusual knurled tension adjuster where the handle sits, in good overall condition a very scarce and early patented reel. Very scarce collectors piece.
