Rare Antique Allcock & Co 4” Improved Coxon Aerial Centrepin

A very scarce Coxon Aerial by Allcock & Co this is the 1925-28 Improved Coxon Aerial 4” diameter, this was the break through transitional Centrepin when the Coxons were moved over to fully ventilated Alloy Centrepin reels, only made for a few years hence the scarcity and appeal to collectors, this reel is good original order and would be an asset to any collection and a joy to trot a line with. Having the traditional & classic twelve spokes with micro adjuster fully ventilated alloy spool, mahogany backplate , brass starback & integrated foot not shortened or altered. A true collectors piece. Note this reel has the forward tapered original horn handles , similar to the handles on the Rollerback aerials made also around the same time frame. Very reasonably priced for a exceptionally rare Antique 100 year old Centrepin.
