Homer of London Forest Gate “Competition” Rod

A beautifully restored Competition winners rod by Homers a great quality rod builder, this has two tips allowing a 10ft and a 9ft combination rod, whole cane with attractive scorching techniques as was used by Homers and Sowebutts etc.. having a built cane tip and a heavier duty greenheart tip with a porcelain lined tip ring, red agatine lined butt ring. Having the early Homers Forest agate London logo and brass firttings , neatly engraved with the competition winners details “ PIKE 34lbs FRED CASS NOV 18th 1931” also stamped on a reel ring “ NEWS OF THE WORLD CHAMPION ROD” Reg DESIGN. Overall a great collectors rod and would be a joy to use with a piece of history go with it..
