In excellent condition a beautifully hand crafted built cane two piece 9 1/2ft spinning rod “ THE IDEAL” By FOSTERS OF ASHBOURNE, most probably built by master rod builder S. Woolley. Having intermediate silk whippings, clear agate butt and tip rings , full length cork handle with screw lock fit reel seat, with twist b lock brass ferrule, the rod is not dissimilar to the Hardys LRH, a superb built rod ideal for salmon spinning etc, equally good for carp stalking or a Barbel rod. Nice and straight and a high quality rod.
