Antique very Early Brass SPIKE Winch Reel

A rare very Early 19th Century Brass Spike winch with constant check mechanism, totally original condition around 200 years old, having a turned bone handle, iron spike rod fitting, some natural pitting on part of the brass plate edge, the mechanism is still nice and crisp, a rare opportunity to own a piece of fishing history, these early reels very rarely turn up for sale.
