Very Rare FRANKLIN Rod Company/TOM MORAN Built Cane 7 1/2ft Fly Rod

This is an extremely rare rod of which I have only ever seen two of, this is a 7ft 6” #5 , The FRANKLIN ROD Co was formed by the late TOM MORAN & MIKE JORDAN in the 1970s and then Tom joined Partridge making their range of built cane rods. You can see the quality in this rod as you’d expect from Toms craftsmanship, inscribed in the classic Indian ink style “ The Franklin Rod Co “ “76506” on both sections. With a turned ebony ferrule protector, snake rings, chestnut brown silk whippings, with a cloth bag, nice tippy action, very light , a quality built rod, Tom based his rods on the Garrison Blank tapers. This rod is from a Tom Moran Rod enthusiast/collector so a scarce opportunity to own and fish with this very fine rod.
