Very Rare “ D.SLATER” “ Wallis Zephyr” Centrepin with Bespoke Case

A very rare find, this is a collectors piece in superb original condition, a DAVID SLATER OF NEWARK “ WALLIS ZEPHYR” a true classic with scarce makers stamp logos on the alloy backplate, having a beautifully hand turned walnut drum with twin turned horn early “ Dolls Head” handles set on alloy cusp plates, with the Patent drum release catch, spins nice and true, 4 1/4” diameter with ventilated and waisted brass foot not altered or shortened, a stunning reel and very difficult reel  to find let alone in this superb original condition.
