Very Rare EDGE-DELITE De-Luxe Centrepin

This is probably one of the rarest Centrepin reels you might find, if your a Centrepin collector or enthusiast you will be hard pressed to add one of these reels to your collection. Bench made by Robert Edge engineer works LEEDS, He made a standard version and this DE-LUXE Centrepin a classic 4 1/2” this is a the narrow drum & was also available in a wide drum. WIth upgraded deluxe Green marble effect twin handles set on brass cusps. Totally unique and quite ingenious check mechanism that has two brass star adjusters on the backplate one adjusts the spin of the spool when the check is off and the other has a brass nipple when pressed allows the check pawl to engage on/off. The fine quality multi ventilated alloy spool spins superbly, very well balanced engineered reel, with brass line lays and a black housing with brass foot not altered or shortened. Complete with original trade card box. Overall a very scarce excellent design reel to fish with.
