An exquisite Hand crafted Highest quality best built cane fly rod by the late Master Rod maker TOM MORAN, this is one of the rarest smallest size rods he made a 6ft 6” with twin tips, a Special rod with Toms Indian ink inscriptions “ No 784/14 “The Spring Run” 6’ 6” #4 both tip inscribed 784/14. Notice the Rosewood collars where the swelled cane meets the cork handle and also around the reel seat with bamboo splices set in the reel seat with a nickel silver reel band and butt cap with TOM MORAN Cartouche stamp. Also note the micro fine two colour whippings near the hook keeper, the most finest of fine whippings, an amazing built rod, in superb condition complete with partitioned bag and a best quality Italian leather case with TOM MORAN ROD COMPANY Patch label  all hand stitched and crafted around a re-enforced alloy tube insert for protection when travelling.
