Scarce Antique D.SLATER of Newark “ Improved Wallis Zephyr” Centrepin

In superb original condition a classic Centrepin by D.Slater of Newark, these reels very rarely turn up for sale, having the makers stamp logos on the alloy backplate, beautiful turned walnut drum with twin early turned horn  “ Dolls Head “ handles set on alloy plates, with patent drum release catch, 3 3/4” diameter, spins nicely, having a brass ventilated waisted foot, not altered or shortened. A true collectors reel and a joy to fish with.
