Rare BUILT Cane 5ft 6” Fly rod by PARTRIDGE ENGLAND “ The Cumberland”

A very scarce little 5ft 6” #4 hand crafted Built cane fly rod by Partridge England, hand written in Indian ink by the maker, possibly and highly likely built by Tom Moran who started his rod building career with Partridge, note the hand planed forward tapers crafted above the waisted cigar cork handle very much a Tom Moran trait. With quality nickel silver and a hardwood reel seat, looks unused with turned hardwood ferrule stopper. A beautiful delicate little beck or brook rod.
