A scarce antique Hardy Bros St. George Junior Fly reel Smallest size 2 9/16”. This reel has a desirable agate line guide opposed to the solid metal line guide. A fine little reel in very good original condition with no cracks or chips in the Agate ring, having an alloy ribbed foot not altered or shortened, three screw drum release catch, dup m MKII check mechanism with tensioner, this reel has the JS made by the highly regarded Hardy Reel Maker Jimmy Smith. A great reel for the little streams and ideal for those cane 6-7ft fly rods. A rare collectible reel and a joy to fish with.
