PARTRIDGE OF ENGLAND BUILT CANE 5ft DRY FLY ROD

A rare size rod, the smallest size that Partridge built, a beautifully hand built little tooth pick! for dry fly fishing on the little chalk brooks and becks. The rod is a quality build and possibly built by the late Master rod builder TOM MORAN who built the rods for Partridge in his early career around the 1980s. The rod has a cigar cork handle with sliding reel seats, snake rings with hook keeper, bronzed ferrule with turned hard wood stopper, with original bag and alloy tube, the rod is hand inscribed in Indian ink “ Partridge of Redditch made in England” STI 82 5ft #4” the chestnut brown silk whippings are tipped orange and dark brown, a beautifully built little rod and a delight to fish with. Very rare size.
