Extremely Rare Antique EDWARDIAN “DRY FLY ANGLERS” Multi-tool Anglers Knife
Free shipping on all UK orders.
Over the years I’ve owned a large collection of over 300 collectible anglers knives including Hardy Bros, Shaws, Farlow to name a few. But I’d rate this Knife as the rarest one I’ve had the privilege to own.
Its an Edwardian Ebonised checked side plated with Steel & brass blades and fittings, large size 12cm when closed, having a main large locking blade with release button, a smaller blade, cork screw, detachable tweezers and fly or hook holder, but what makes the a unique tool is the fitted nickel silver balance with hook, beautifully hand crafted multi-tool and extremely rare. All in excellent condition and a delight to own and use. I’ve only ever seen one other.
The actual knife is also shown in a 1899 London Fishing Tackle catalogue as shown..
