Antique Slater Latch ZEPHYR 41/2” Centrepin Reel

Scarce Early Zephyr with alloy backplate and brass starback with the on/off check button, the improved models are hard to find especially the 41/2” large diameter, the turned mahogany spool spins beautifully having twin horn handles set in alloy cusps, the slotted or ventilated brass foot is all correct and not filed or shortened, a classic traditional Centrepin in original condition, great reels to use having a four screw slater drum release catch and a calliper spring check.
