Antique Rare Eggington of Merton Fish Tail Back Slater Latch Reel

In superb condition this is a very rare Brass Fish Tail backed Walnut Wood and brass caged Centrepin with Slater Latch with makers stamp Eggington Of Merton , I’ve never seen one of these retailers reels in this beautiful high quality finish, 4” diameter with twin ebonite handles set on brass cusps, an on/off check button on the backplate with a scarce fish tail starback back. A very nice high quality antique reel.
