Antique EARLY JOHN RUSSELL painted Fochabers Studio “ Wild Brown Trout” Naturistically Hand carved Painted

A rare Early Brown Trout beautifully and naturistically painted and carved by The Fochabers Studio, THIS IS A VERY EARLY MODEL hand painted by John Russell as the first models always had the pectoral & pelvic fins hand painted as this one has, it would have been hand carved by Mr Tully & realistically painted by Mr. J.RUSSELL ( a highest regarded artist) , over 100 years old, set on a presentation board and retailed by FARLOWS OF PALL MALL LONDON as stamped on back of the board, all the carefully carved dorsal Fin and tail are correct none broken, a fine collectible item and very reasonably priced for such an early un restored Russell fish.
