Antique circa 1903 Hardy Bros UNIQUA Fly Reel

These early first model Unique Fly reels by Hardy Bros are hard to find especially in this excellent original condition, having the makers details set in a concentric circle on the backplate with all of the original black finish , having the early first model flat calliper spring check, it measures exactly 3 1/4”, narrow drum trout fly reel, correct un filed original brass foot, nickel silver horseshoe drum release catch, nice and tight on the spindle with no play, this reel as had very little use, no line burns or grooving on any of the pillars, a real collector’s piece.
