Antique Allcock & Co “SALAR” Salmon Fly Reel.

In very good original condition, not often seen a Salmon fly reel patented by Allcock & Co, unusual in that it has a side lever on/off check similar to the Aerial design, also a spoked tensioner and a central knurled nickel silver tensioner, twin handles with a quick drum release catch, large 4 1/2” diameter, a collectors reel but also very usable. With makers stamp and Stag logo.
