Earliest Antique C.FARLOW OF LONDON Brass Winch with Rare TEMPLE BAR Address

Probably one if not the earliest and rarest C. Farlow Brass winch, beautifully inscribed “ C.FARLOW MAKER 221 THE STRAND NEAR TEMPLE BAR” circa 1840 when Farlows were first established therefore probably one of their very first built reels, could they have in been collaboration with USTONSON Of Temple Bar, it’s certainly has all the qualities, having a raised check housing and Ivorine handle, correct smooth brass foot nor altered or shortened, nice crisp contant check. A true collectors piece, very rare in fine original condition.
